Erik & Mike work with fair trade artisan workshops across Indonesia to create beautiful products, including this line of banners woven in fine cotton.
46" long by 16" wide, with wooden bars and top and bottom and a rope cord to hang it by, these banners are favored as housewarming gifts. Previously made of silk, these banners are now made in cotton -- equally beautiful, and able to be sold at a lower price.
They're meant for indoors, but we hung a banner on our front door at Vivo! one summer and absolutely fell in love with the patina that developed as the fabric and painted wood bars weathered.
So did our customers, apparently, since we had several requests to buy it straight off the door..... Yes, we finally gave in.
